My
Qualifications
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with advanced training in trauma, attachment, and relationship work. My educational background includes theological and biblical studies through seminary training, as well as graduate-level training in art therapy from Antioch University Seattle. I have specialized training in EMDR, parts work, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and Relational Life Therapy (RLT)-informed approaches. My work integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and depth-oriented psychotherapy.
In addition to trauma and relationship work, I help individuals and couples understand and transform patterns of emotional abuse, control, and relational harm. My post-graduate focus has included spiritual growth after trauma, religious and spiritual abuse, and the impact of high-control groups on identity, autonomy, and the capacity to live authentically.
My current areas of study and professional development focus on neurodiversity and relationships, including how different neurotypes experience connection, communication, attachment, conflict, and intimacy. I am particularly interested in helping individuals, couples, and families understand neurotype differences through a compassionate and relational lens. Recent training and study have also focused on autistic family dynamics, caregiver and family burnout, and supporting families in creating sustainable, attuned, and supportive relationships.
